The Catholic Health Alliance of Canada has produced a 1-page “Proclaim” statement to assist the 124 Catholic health organizations speak a common message about Catholic health care.
Father Frank Morrisey received the first CHSO Meritorious Award at CHSO’s Forum and Gala Dinner held on June 26th in Toronto. This honour recognizes extraordinary contributions by individuals that have had a significant impact on Catholic health care. Father Frank’s impact has been felt by CHSO and by Catholic health organizations across Canada and internationally. Congratulations!
This year’s recipient of CHSO’s Living the Mission Award is Doris Shirriff. Doris was honoured during CHSO’s Forum and Gala Dinner held on June 26th in Toronto. The award acknowledges the highest level of excellence in the area of demonstrated and recognized day-to-day expression of Mission. Doris has inspired and mentored others in her long career as a front-line employee, senior leader and governor within Catholic health care. Doris retires this year from the Board of Waypoint Centre for Mental Health.
